A New Poem

Well, since the old poems make the blog seem blacker than its own background, here's a new one. I'll write it right now. Hmmmm.....

At the special time is when upon,
I felt the world anew all dawn.
Pockets full of morning air,
Chestful of pride and hopeful care.

Man and wife and house and dog,
now a truck and new weblog.
Sunshine eyes and friends afar,
if only they knew how close they are.

In my heart dwells the love,
for those whom I hold above.
Peace and warmth I reach with strife.
Thank the heavens this is my life.
